There is no better way to enjoy all the Lake District has to offer than to get out in the fresh air!

Our break has all you could need to enjoy a couple of days in the Lakes with the ones you love.

You will arrive to a cream tea on arrival, you are welcome to join us for dinner or enjoy some light bites in the bar where you can review your local walks book that you will have been given on check-in and order your packed lunch for your day of adventure tomorrow!

When you come down for breakfast the following you can enjoy our continental buffet which has cereals, fresh fruits, and natural yogurt with freshly made fruit coulis to make your favourate followed by your choice of our cooked breakfast selection which is prepared fresh for you from the kitchen with options including a full Cumbrian breakfast, Eggs Benedict, Fisherman Breakfast, the classic Humpty Dumpty or our newest option of Mushroom Benedict!

Your packed lunch will be ready for collection from reception after you have enjoyed your breakfast and you can head off on your adventure!

Upon your victorious return to the hotel, you can look back on your day's exploits whilst you enjoy dinner in the restaurant.

Children's and Adult Extra Bed Rates from 1st April 2023 - 31st March 2024:

Prices are based on bed and breakfast only, all other meals and additions to the package will be charged for. Children's prices are based on them sharing any of the room types above that take multi-occupancy guests with a full-paying adult.

Prices are based on the age of the child at the time of the stay, not the time of the booking.

Adults on an extra bed are priced at £50.00 per night on a bed-and-breakfast basis. all other meals and additions to the package will be charged for.

Children aged 16 and over at the time of the stay will be charged at the full adult rate and their rate will include all the additions to the package.

About Lindeth Howe!

Lindeth Howe is a stunning hotel with over 30 bedrooms on the outskirts of Bowness On Windermere set in 6 acres of gently sloping gardens and with an enviable vista of the hills on the other side of the lake. We have a very extensive food offering that we offer around the clock and a great team of chefs in the kitchen who are wondrous at special dietary requirements, we just ask that you let us know before your arrival so we can order any special items in good time for your stay.

We would politely request that you book a time for dinner and breakfast to ensure we can seat you at a time that is suitable for you.

When checking in, please ensure that you let us know if you would like your bedroom serviced during your stay.

Breakfast is served daily between 8am and 10am, afternoon tea from 12noon until 5pm and dinner from 6pm until 8.30pm, light bites are available in the bar all day until 9pm

Our well-stocked bar serves everything from the most obscure cocktails to a simple sweet sherry.

Many of our bedrooms have stunning views across the gardens to the lake, however, please let us know if a view is important to you when you book and we will do our best to accommodate you, although with so much to do in the area, who wants to spend all their time in the room!

We run a members card scheme, if you would like to join please let us know when you arrive and our reception team will sign you up, it is free to join and it provides you with exclusive offers around the year.

We can organise through our sister company mountain goat tours and holidays the most wonderful days out that not only allow you to see the best of the lakes but give the driver a rest on holiday too, please be aware that those under 5 are not permitted on the mountain goat tours.

How to book

It is very easy to book your stay with us, either pop the dates you would like to visit in our booking engine, or you can call us on +44 (0) 1539445759 and one of the team will be happy to book your stay with us.

We will require a card to guarantee the room, should you cancel within 72 hours before arrival, the payment for the first night will be taken, should you fail to show for your reservation the full payment will be taken, should you cancel 73 hours or more before your arrival no charge will be made.

If you are booking 3 or more rooms it will be considered a 'group' booking and the above flexible cancellation no longer applies full payment will be required at the time of booking, this is non-refundable and non-transferable. 

We recommend that you take out appropriate holiday insurance for your holiday.
