Cumbria Tourism Wedding Venue of the Year Winners!
On the 5th of July 2023, Castle Green Hotel in Kendal hosted the prestigious Cumbria Tourism Awards.
Lindeth Howe Hotel is overjoyed to have won the Wedding Venue of the Year Award. This award signifies the culmination of many years of hard work and dedication by the whole team at the hotel.
Clare Bateman, Deputy General Manager and one-half of the wedding team said 'Firstly we would like to thank the team at Cumbria Tourism who organised the awards, It was a fantastic night which was a testament to the hard work and dedication of the team at CT. Our win last night would have been unachievable without the support of the entire team at the hotel who work so diligently day in and day out to ensure our guests have a wonderful time with us.
We have been blown away by the support we have received, not only from our team at the hotel but from all our couples who make our job so easy by being so lovely and an absolute joy to work with. We would also like to thank all our colleagues at other venues in the area who have sent their best wishes, it means more to us than they can possibly know. Huge thanks must also go to all the suppliers we work with who make our jobs easy. They make our venue look beautiful and help us to make our couples' special days so exquisite we genuinely cannot do what we do without them all. We can't wait to meet more lovely couples and show them how we can help them make their wedding day dreams come true!'

We understand how the cost of living crisis has affected many people, so we have created a range of packages for 2 to 120 people, some with accommodation, some without. We have, alongside Mountain Goat, created the first wedding package in the area that includes a bespoke tour on the wedding day, giving the opportunity for some truly unique photos! While we have a few packages to select from, we know that each and every couple is unique, so at Lindeth Howe we work with the bride and Groom to create the perfect day. We help the happy couple pick a bit from each package. There is the option to leave some bits out or add in any specific requirements. Our wedding team work with the Bride and Groom on the actual day. when we say we are with our couples every step of the way, we really mean it! Our only goal is for our couples to be happy with their choices and trust goes a long way to achieving that. This ethos along with our unique decor and fantastic team helped us win last night, and when you have a winning combination like that, why change a thing? We certainly won't be!
