Our 34 bedroom hotel is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the Lake District National Park and the beautiful surrounding area. Our lounge and bar area maintains our Beatrix Potter connection and is also a great place to enjoy a before or after-dinner drink with friends and family. Non-residents are always welcome. We are also a licensed Wedding Venue.

Our Location
Lindeth Howe is a charming Hotel in a peaceful Lake District setting, less than half an hour from junction 36 of the M6.
From J36 of the M6 take the A591 signposted to Kendal, at the Plumgarths roundabout take the B5284 signposted Bowness. At the end of the B5284 take the B5285 (Longtail Hill) and we are halfway down the hill on the left.
Please do not use the postcode of the property in any route finder/sat nav/guidance systems as this will take you to the old entrance of the house, please use Longtail Hill.
