What method of payments do you accept?
We would like you to pay on your day of departure any remaining balance on your account by credit/debit card, cash or cheques. We accept all major credit cards. Alternatively if you wish you can also pay in full when you book.
What time is check in/out?
Check in is from 3 pm. You are welcome to arrive earlier and leave your luggage or enjoy lunch or afternoon tea in the lounge. However, we cannot guarantee your room will be ready if you do arrive early. If this is a problem please contact us, as we will do our utmost to help. Check out is before 11am.
Do you have Internet access?
Yes. Free WiFi access is available throughout the public areas in the hotel for guests to use, you can get the code to access the WiFi on check in, it is also on the back of registration card.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes, we now allow dogs in three of our ground floor easy access rooms only. Dogs now have a special walking area within our grounds with dedicated poop scoop bin. We regret that dogs are not permitted in the public areas of the hotel.
What kind of parking do you have?
We have plenty of parking around the hotel in our private car park. Disabled parking is also available. We do not charge for parking.
Is there a dress code for dinner?
In the evening we do ask guests to observe a dress code of smart. If you have any questions regarding this please contact us and we will be pleased to answer any queries you may have.
Do you offer Room Service?
For guests wishing to enjoy the comforts of their room we offer room service serving a selection of freshly made sandwiches, light snacks and beverages. This is a 24 hour service.
Are you a non-smoking hotel?
Yes, we are completely non-smoking. If you do want to smoke we have designated smoking areas outside at the front of the hotel.
How far is the hotel from lake Windermere?
The hotel overlooks lake Windermere, providing our guests with stunning, breath-taking views. It is just a short ten minute walk to lake Windermere.
