One day her life is turned upside down by the arrival of a girl from Lancashire who is seeking a different life and an American publisher who just won’t take ‘no’ for an answer!
The action takes place in the Lake District at Castle Cottage, Hill Top, the Tower Bank Arms, Hawkshead Village Hall, Troutbeck and Mass Eccles Tarn.

Dine out and talk on Saturday 17th September at 6pm includes a free talk by the national trust about Beatrix Potter’s life and work in the Lake District, and a set Cumbrian meal.
There will 2.30pm matinees on Saturday 17th, Thursday 22nd, Saturday 24th and Wednesday 28th September and Saturday 1st, Fridays 7th and Saturday 8th October. All tickets for matinees are £20.00 and all children’s tickets are £7.00. There is also the option of Dine out ticket which includes a light lunch £25.00.
