Arrive on your first day, enjoy a 5 course Dinner get an early night for your day ahead in the morning, wake up to a hearty Cumbrian breakfast served between 8-10am, then be ready to get picked up at 9.30am for an action packed day ahead, have a day of rock climbing, collect your packed lunch up from reception before you leave, arrive back at around 6pm to wind down in our leisure facilities before enjoy a 5 course dinner in our award winning restaurant. Then the next day enjoy another hearty breakfast before departing.

Rise to the challenge

Always wanted to climb  the third highest peak in England but don’t know where to start. Have a guided tour by Rob Coles he will be with you all the way to the very top taking you by the standard path or via the exhilarating Striding Edge. This is a strenuous activity but well worth it once you are at the top and the views will be breath taking.

Group packages are available and can take up to 8 people out either Rock Climbing, Abseiling , Ghyll Scrambling.

No matter what the weather is like in the Lake District there is always something to do.

Lucy Cooks Cookery School Pratical Review

Lucy Cooks practical cookery courses are designed to be very hands on, which means lots of creativity and really ‘feeling’ the food- therefore we do suggest you dress appropriately and wear comfortable loose fitting clothing (flat shoes are recommended as you will be on your feet at you create your dishes!).
