Christmas at Lindeth Howe

Christmas at Lindeth Howe

4 Night Christmas Fun In The Lake District

Lindeth Howe Country House Hotel is situated on the outskirts of the beautiful village of Bowness On Windermere and has 6 acres of stunning manicured gardens. It has an indoor swimming pool and sauna.

We are very proud to hold 2 rosettes, awarded from the AA for the fantastic food produced by our brigade of highly talented chef’s.

We are very honoured to be the home of Beatrix Potter’s mother, who lived here until she died at which point Beatrix sold the house. While visiting here in her younger years Beatrix wrote and illustrated two of her stories, Timmy Tiptoes and Pigling Bland.

We have 34 wonderful bedrooms each one unique and many of which boast views over the gardens and lake.

We are happy to offer free use of the leisure facilities and free parking to all our guests.

Christmas at Lindeth Howe Country House Hotel is such a special time of year, so much so we have people returning year after year. We have had guests coming for so many years some of them have been here for more Christmas's than many of the staff! Christmas here is just like being with one big family (very big family - you will be sitting down to lunch with over 50 others, luckily we have someone to do the washing up!).

You can do as much or as little as you wish. You can make new friends who you can keep in touch with throughout the year and maybe even see them the following year if you choose to join us again (as many do).
