Beatrix Potter is widely recognised, along with Kendal mint cake and Herdwick sheep, as one of the icons of the Lake District. To celebrate what would have been the great ladies 150th birthday we thought we would put together a short film that shows Beatrix on the imagined occasion of her 150th birthday.
Walking from her house at Castle Cottage, across her land to Tom Kitten Gate and on to her Farm at Hill Top. She then travels across Windermere by boat, admiring the landscape she so dearly loved. From here she is collected in the magnificent Humber 1925 and escorted to enjoy sketching and afternoon tea at Lindeth Howe.
