We have a great value stay this autumn when you pay for 2 nights, we will give you a 3rd for FREE!

On your arrival day, settle into your holiday with a homemade cream tea which is included in your package!

On your second day, you will be off on a half-day six-lake adventure with the Mountain Goat Tour Company! There is the option for you to upgrade to the full-day Ten Lakes tour, however, this is subject to availability and must be booked with us before arrival at the hotel.

No matter what your reason for visiting, it could be to get a little break before the festive fun begins or a relaxing escape after the school holidays; this is the perfect break for you to enjoy the full potential of the Lake District at such a special time of year.

Prices are based on two people sharing a room and this package offers exceptional value. We have onsite parking and charging points for electric cars! Our team are also on hand to direct you to the top tourist attractions you may wish to visit.

There are many things to be enjoyed in autumn in the Lake District, some of which are just a short drive away, there is the maple walk at John Ruskin’s home at Brantwood on the edge of Coniston Water or the stunning arts and crafts house at Blackwell, built by the architect MH Baillie Scott and overlooking Lake Windermere Scott built the home for his client Sir Edward Holt and he created what can only be described as a masterpiece of 20th-century design, a perfect example of the Arts and Crafts movement and at less than a 5-minute drive from the hotel no matter what the weather, it really does make a fantastic day out. We also have Windermere Lake Cruises on our doorstep, where you can go on a lovely lake cruise and also visit the Lakes Aquarium at Lakeside or pay a visit to the memory-evoking Motor Museum which is not just for motor buffs, it is a celebration of all things vintage and retro. There is also, of course, the world-famous Hilltop former home of Beatrix Potter, along with many other places in the area, which is a national trust property (Please check opening times before you book as Hilltop is not always open on a Friday).

The free night that you get is the same as the 2 nights you pay for, so if you book dinner bed, and breakfast, your free night will be dinner bed, and breakfast, and if you book bed and breakfast, your free night will be bed and breakfast.
