Friday 3rd June – Sunday 5th June 2016

Well this weekend the Holker Garden Festival is back again and is full of beautiful gardening and flowers, the event is full of different activities like crafts and music and amazing entertainment throughout the day, which a chance of seeing some celebrity guests throughout the three days, this even is one for all the family. Saturday 4th June 2016

South Lake District hosts the Gallop trial race, this is held in Grasmere at the sports ground. Come along and cheer up runners in and out of the sports ground and take in the wonderful views of Grasmere and whilst you’re there check out all the unique little shops and enjoy a lovely day out in Grasmere, any information on the event can be seen here.

Saturday 4th June & Sunday 5th June 2016

Crooklands that is based just of the M6 is having their annual country fest that is held at the country show field, the event has a lot of activities and offers a real taste of the countryside. They are celebrating the quality and diversity of food and drink with many activities, last years included things like parachuting teddy bears, pony club games, kite displays and demonstrations and with so much more to do go an explore and check the Country fest out for yourselves, maybe even on the way home. Friday 10th June – Sunday 12th June 2016

The Lake District is home to the Great North Swim, so why not come down to the lake and watch the swimmers take a dip and cheer up those that are brave enough to do it. The event will take place over three days and the entry price will vary from £35 to £75. Also if you are staying with us or taking part in the race, our chef can do you an early breakfast and we can open up the pool you that you can have a nice warm swim before the big race. Wednesday 8th June – Sunday 19th June 2016

There is a lot happening in Ulverston so come and have a visit, Ulverston’s annual music festival is held in various venues and would love you to come there is a mix of music and the first show of the 11 days will start at 7:30 pm watching Don Giovanni these tickets will vary from £7 - £25 so make sure you don’t miss out on this wonderful experience and book your tickets now this can be done by visiting the website or calling 01229587140.

Saturday 11th June 2016

On the 11th of June Grange Over Sands welcomes the Edwardian Festival making you feel like you’re back in that time period. Those that run local businesses all dress up and all through the town there are activities and stalls to get everyone involved and to participate. There is also music that is performed at the local band stand what is surrounded by beautiful scenery. This event runs all day and is great for all ages for more information please visit the town council website.

Friday 24th June & Sunday 26th June 2016

Cartmel Races is back for another year, this time the entertainment is stronger than ever attracting a wide range of people. They have entertainment throughout the afternoon on both race days, and have a lot of activities to keep everyone busy, including fairground rides, music and a place to get food and drink, so come to the little village and have a wonderful day out and explore Cartmel. Friday 24th June – Sunday 26th June 2016

Dentdale Music and Beer Festival provides free entertainment for all the family. Whilst letting the adults have fun there is a separate area where young adults and children can experience their own festival and have things put on like live music and activities for all ages.  You will find a range of food and beer with over 25 choices of beer you can’t go wrong. There are street performers throughout the day alongside the 25 and more artists that will be playing there. So see the website for information on location and timings
